So you have decided your color palette for your new remodel? With so many tile choices for flooring and back splashes, large and small rectangles, squares of all sizes, have you considered hexagons? Hexagons provide a timeless look that is sure to make a statement! They can be used all throughout the house, especially in the bathroom and the kitchen.

Since hexagon tiles are very durable and water resistant they can make a perfect addition to your bathroom floor. The most popular ideas are to contrast dark and neutral colors to contrast and highlight the tiles. In our two latest bathroom remodels, the clients went with a black and white contrast. Once client went with large black hexagons on the tile floor and large white subway tiles on the walls. The other client opted for white marble hexagons on the floor and a similar contrasting black hexagon on the shower wall. We think both look great!

Having difficulty choosing the right back splash? Every one knows whites and neutrals provide a clean look, especially if you have a bright, open kitchen. In our latest project, our client chose white, small hexagon tiles to accent the white stone counter tops. This look will be sure to turn heads when having dinner parties. 

In another recent project, the client opted for a small grey hexagon for their back splash to complement the larger hexagon tiles found throughout the bathroom. Sometimes you will find tile manufacturers make the same hexagon tile in different sizes, this is great to feature different size tiles but keep the same look throughout your project.
